LITTLE LION
AGe 3~5 preschool, Kindergarten

The ages between 3 and 5 are some of the most important years of a child’s development. Our Little Lion classes consist of fun-filled activities that help our students improve their focus, overcome shyness, and develop their gross and fine motor skills. These classes are specifically designed to suit younger students and focus on mental and behavioral training, which helps children better adapt to school settings. As a result, children can improve their listening skills and academic readiness.

Our Intermediate classes offer an exciting and effective way to stay active and learn self-defense. These classes help improve flexibility and build strength through forms, combinations, and footwork. Workshops, traditional self-defense sessions, and sport-style training all help students find their own path according to their individual goals and talents.

Our school is recognized with Kukkiwon, and all black belts receive  Kukkiwon certificates from South Korea.”

What is Kukkiwon Certification?

Kukkiwon is the World Tae Kwon Do Federation Headquarters for Dan/Poom certification and it is situated in Seoul, South Korea. A Kukkiwon certificate is widely regarded as the most prestigious of all the Black Belt certificates within the art of Tae Kwon Do. The World Tae Kwon Do Federation, which is the international governing body for Tae Kwon Do, requires that all those who wish to compete at the international level be Kukkiwon certified.

Each black belt holder will be registered with an ID number and will be issued a Kukkiwon Certificate and ID card. This recognition is registered and is recognized by the WORLD and is not limited to just the school that issued the certificate. Students will always remain in the given rank for their lifetime. Once a black belt holder achieves the rank of 4th DAN from Kukkiwon is considered a Master and certified as an instructor.

Please Help Us by:

Our goal is to teach children discipline and respect inherent in TAEKWONDO, but we cannot do it without your help. Please follow our school’s rule

1. PARENTS ARE WELCOME to observe classes, but please be quiet in the waiting area.

We always welcome applause and cheers for the concentration and sense of achievement of the children.

However, personal conversations or phone calls should be taken outside.

2. STUDENTS SHOULD ARRIVE at the studio with enough time to be ready to start on time.

When you arrive, everyone should be quiet upon entering the dojo. Kids should immediately put their shoes away, check-in and get ready for class.

Children should NEVER step onto the mat without an instructor present and when they do, they must enter with “walking feet” and line up in an attention position.

If you are early, children can wait OUTSIDE quietly. The dojo echoes so you will have to help them monitor their noise level. Any small siblings also need to follow these rules as well.

3. CLASSES MISSED due to illness or other conflicts may be made-up by taking another scheduled class. (There will be no refund or credit for missed classes)

Students who are feeling sick should stay home and do not send your child to school with a fever.

BUT make sure to attend class regularly to improve your skills. Encourage your child throughout their training.

4. ALWAYS WEAR CLEAN uniforms or T-shirts.

Only allowed school logoed uniforms, t-shirts, and sparring gears

NO JEWELRY (including braided wrist and ankle bands, watches, rings, earrings) may be worn in class.

5. To limit distractions students’ hair must be neatly secured away from their faces.

Students with long hair must tie their hair or wear a headband. Sometimes, hair covering the eyes can lead to accidents or injuries.

6. Be present for your child. Watch their class!

We have seen that it has a huge impact on kids when they feel their parent’s presence. Conversely, there are times where a parent’s presence is distracting. In that case, it’s best to wait in the car or just out of sight!

7. When your child is on the mat, DO NOT communicate with them.

They need to learn the ropes on their own and answer their instructor independently.

5. FOOD - There is to be no gum chewing in class.

No food of any sort is allowed in the studio.

We aspire for your children to joyfully learn Taekwondo in the utmost condition and environment.  All of this necessitates collaboration and love from parents. Thank you for your cooperation!
