TaeKwonDo is a traditional martial art from Korea dating back to ancient times. TaeKwonDo is known for its amazing kicks, and traditional poomse and is an official Olympic Sport. Its governing body is the World TaeKwonDo Federation in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to being a full-body workout, TaeKwonDo helps its practitioners develop the right character.

Who can learn Taekwondo?

Anyone can learn Taekwondo! We accept students as young as 3 years old and up.

What should I wear to my trial class?

Sweatpants and a T-shirt. Children should dress comfortably in something that they don't mind sweating in. Kids get a good workout here, and they move around a lot.

Which class should I attend to start out?

Children ages 3 through 5 years (Preschool, kindergarten) attend the Little Lion.

Those 6 years (1st Grade) and older attend the Beginner's class.

11 years old and above, including those in the 5th grade, are eligible to participate in the Teen/Adult classes.

If I have two or more children, is there a discount?

We do offer family discounts. We encourage families to sign up multiple members so that they can enjoy the experience together.

What is the best way to get started?
The best way to get started is to give us a call or text us at 909-475-7788 to schedule a convenient time for you to come in and tour our facility, meet with one of the Master Instructors, watch a class if you like, and ask any questions you may have. There are no obligations to join, and you will never feel pressured to sign up for classes.

What is Kukkiwon Certification?

Kukkiwon is the World Tae Kwon Do Federation Headquarters for Dan/Poom certification, located in Seoul, South Korea. Holding a Kukkiwon certificate is highly regarded as the highest honor of a Black Belt in the art of Tae Kwon Do. In order to compete in international events, the World Tae Kwon Do Federation - which is the global governing body of Tae Kwon Do - requires all participants to have Kukkiwon certification.

Each Black Belt holder is assigned an ID number and issued a Kukkiwon Certificate and ID card. This recognition is not only acknowledged by the school that issued the certificate, but is registered and recognized on a global scale. With a Kukkiwon certification, rank is kept for a lifetime. When a Black Belt holder reaches 4th DAN, they are regarded as a Master and certified as an instructor.
